Course content further addresses the importance of early identification of such symptoms and the rationale for evaluating for, and addressing, treatable causes. The urgency for neurological consultation when treatable causes are not a factor is stressed. The value of routine, standard screening for cognitive impairment and means of accomplishing standard screening are discussed.
