Alzheimer’s Community Care’s Vice President of Education and Quality Assurance Dr. Karen Gilbert, DNP MS RN Joins the Board of the American Society on Aging
Vice President of Education and Quality Assurance at Alzheimer’s Community Care (ACC) Dr. Karen Gilbert has been named to the American Society on Aging board. Dr. Gilbert has worked in health care administration for more than 35 years and for the past fourteen years has worked with patients experiencing various stages of Alzheimer’s Disease and related neurocognitive disorders.
The American Society on Aging is a leader in driving the discourse and advocating for the change necessary to address issues in aging. Their mission is to unite, empower, and champion everyone striving to improve aging. The organization has become the go-to source to cultivate leadership, advance knowledge, and strengthen the skills of those who work with and on behalf of older adults.
“I’m honored and privileged to join the ASA board and be a part of advancing their mission to improve the quality of life for the aging population,” said Dr. Gilbert. “I have dedicated many years to improving the lives of the elderly, and this new venture is a perfect extension of the work I do every day at Alzheimer’s Community Care.”
